Statutory health insurance companies cover the video consultation
Regardless of whether you have statutory or private health insurance, the costs for a visit to the doctor via TeleClinic are covered by your health insurance. Privately insured persons can submit their invoice as usual.
Statutory health insurance
All statutory health insurance companies cover the costs of the online doctor’s visit. Enter your insurance information in the registration process.
Partnership agreement
Thanks to numerous cooperation agreements with health insurance companies, many patients automatically receive free benefits when using TeleClinic. These include 24/7 availability, including on Sundays and public holidays, as well as consultations with doctors with short waiting times.
Private health insurance
Following your consultation with the doctor, you will receive an invoice directly in the app. From there, you can download it and forward it to your private health insurance company in the usual way. Depending on your tariff, many private health insurers will reimburse you for the costs of an online doctor’s visit. The costs are based on the scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ). Please contact your insurance company for detailed information on cost coverage.

Separate prices apply for some treatments. Those with statutory health insurance must pay the treatment costs themselves in these cases.
