With digital doctor's appointments, TeleClinic allows you to focus on recovering in your own bed when you are ill, rather than having to sit in a waiting room.
It is particularly convenient that the sick note is available directly in the app. It is also a relief that the prescription can be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.
It's quick and easy to speak to a doctor. For any future reasons for using telemedicine, I will definitely use TeleClinic again. Thank you!
I particularly liked the fact that it took less than two hours and I had my prescription, including app download, registration, login and doctor contact. Thank you very much!
Great. Super easy, no fuss. It saves a lot of time and hassle around doctor's appointments. I'll be using it more often now.
You don't have to leave your bed when you're already feeling unwell, and you don't infect anyone on the way to the doctor or in the waiting room. I think that's great!

Doctor guide
Our guide provides you with information about doctors. Learn more about medical training, different specialisations and additional training.
What is a doctor?
Doctors are physicians who, after obtaining their licence to practise medicine (state approval), have completed several years of further training as a doctor in a specific field of medicine. By choosing their medical training, young doctors determine their future field of expertise and area of activity. The further training must be completed with a medical examination. Depending on the field, the training takes 4-6 years.
For several years now, the title ‘doctor’ has been a basic requirement for setting up a medical practice (opening a doctor’s surgery) and for registration as a contract doctor with statutory health insurance funds.
What is a licence to practise medicine?
After completing medical school and the third state examination, you can apply for a state licence to practise medicine in Germany. This gives you full authorisation to practise medicine.
You then start your career as an assistant doctor, and this step also marks the beginning of your medical training.
Additional training
In addition to the various medical training programmes that lead to a specific title, doctors can complete a number of additional training courses. These allow them to acquire special medical qualifications, which do not lead to a further medical title, but merely to an additional designation alongside the medical title. Thanks to telemedicine, German doctors can now also treat patients from their home office.
